Consulting company wants to develop Landsale’s brand

Who would have thought such a thing as a “city branding specialist” exists.

But apparently it does, and the North Star Destination Strategies company plans to use its specialty skills to brand Lansdale.

The borough hired the company last year, and feedback from meetings — including one yesterday and one Wednesday — will be used to develop Lansdale’s brand.
And proof that the borough could use a bit of a remake is in today’s Reporter story, which details Monday’s session that had borough officials answering questions like, “What slogans could describe the town in a brief ad or commercial?” and “What color best represents Lansdale?”

Answers, by the way, ranged from slogans about opportunity to borough colors of brown and gray.
