Six people now claiming to have been sexually abused by Bill Conlin

Two more women are now claiming they were abused by retired Daily News sports columnist Bill Conlin when they were children.

The Daily News reports this morning that Linda Stella, now 50, has come forward.

    From the article:

“Linda Stella said that she was just a girl when Bill Conlin pulled her onto his lap and began “flexing his leg muscles” during a family birthday party at his house in South Jersey. She leaped off his lap and looked back. She felt confused when she saw the wet spot at the crotch of his white pants.”

The Inquirer reported yesterday that a woman, who wished to remain unidentified, also has came forward.

Both women say they were friends with Conlin’s children.

The hall of fame baseball writer retired abruptly on Tuesday after four people came forward claiming to have been sexually abused by him.

Six people have now claimed childhood abuse.
