Congress members weigh in on national debt ceiling

When President Barack Obama announced last night that the nation will raise the debt ceiling, Congress members continued to weigh in on what elements they wanted more attention paid to.

Today, NewsWorks’ Dillon Buckley is reaching out to local Congress members to ask whether they’ll vote to raise the debt ceiling through 2012 and cut trillions in spending.

Staffers for New Jersey’s Rob Andrews and Delaware’s Chris Coons say both men will vote yes. Stay tuned for word from more Congressional members.
