Complicated task of redecking middle lanes of Walt Whitman Bridge begins

And so begins the task of redecking the middle lane of the Walt Whitman Bridge.

The three outside lanes heading into New Jersey have already been replaced, but now workers must get down to business in the middle of the bridge as commuters try their best to navigate the path to and from work.

The Gloucester County Times has details of how the project will be done. Work is expected to be completed in October, and traffic will likely be tied up more after Labor Day, when more people are back on the road.
