Committee to nominate candidate to replace O’Pake

    The Pennsylvania Democratic State Senate Campaign Committee will announce monday its candidate for the District 11 special election.

    The candidate will be presented at a 12 p.m. press conference with DSSCC Chairman Daylin Leach, Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chairman Jim Burn and Berks County Democratic Chairman Tom Herman in attendance.

    Representing Berks County, the District 11 candidate will replace Sen. Michael O’Pake, who died in December. O’Pake was the longest-serving state legislator.
