Coming soon: a mobile app for Philadelphia’s 3-1-1 system

Philadelphians will soon have another way to reach the city’s 3-1-1 system.

Already accessible by phone and online, the information and complaint desk could have its very own mobile app by summer.
The Daily News reports the app will allow users to file reports with photos attached and receive notification that their requests have been acknowledged and handled.

The cost to the city will be around $20,000 — less than what Councilman Jim Kenney pays for Twitter.
