Coming along: Construction on new Valley Forge casino to be complete by spring

Construction on the new Valley Forge casino is coming along, with a completion scheduled for spring.

The Daily Local News reports the more than $100 million project is transforming the Valley Forge Convention Center’s lower level into a casino.

Back in 2009, the Pennsylvania Gaming Board approved the Upper Merion convention center’s gambling application.  It was later challenged by the owners of the Parx Casino in Bensalem, acording to the Daily Local News.

In March of that year, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court approved the casino license for the convention center.
