Colorado brewer opts not to choose Philly for East Coast expansion

New Belgium Brewing won’t be setting up shop in Philadelphia. At least, not any time soon.

The Colorado-based brewer considered Philly for its East Coast expansion, but opted for Asheville, N.C., instead.
According to the Business Journal, the company will invest $100 million and create up to 150 jobs to produce almost a half million barrels a year.

    Construction will begin next year.
