Coastal flood advisory in S. Jersey, Phila. and Del.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, N.J., has issued a coastal flood advisory to be in effect from 9 p.m. tonight to 4 a.m. Thursday.

Affected areas include tidal sections of the Deaware River and tributaries in northern Delaware, southeast Pennsylvania and southwest New Jersey.

Minor flooding is likely with heavy rains and a high tide working its way up the Delaware River. Motorists are advised to avoid roadways that are prone to flooding, including the Admiral Wilson Boulevard in Camden Co., Delaware Ave. in Philadelphia, and U.S. 130 in Gloucester Co.
