Classic cars bring nostalgia to Newtown

If you’re looking for a little nostalgia amid all the ice cream parties this weekend, stroll around Newtown’s State Street today and check out some classic cars.Up to 200 cars made between 1900 and 1986 will be on display. Sorry, no test drives.

Registration was open to owners of trucks, street rods, sport cars, muscle cars and motorcycles, as Newtown Patch reports, so there’s sure to be a variety. The event begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 3 on State Street. Bad weather will push the show back a week.
