Clarence Clemons, E Street Band sax player, dies

    About a week after suffering a stroke, Clarence Clemons has died. The E Street Band sax player was 69.

     

    Fans gathered at the Stony Pony in Asbury Park, N.J., yesterday, where Clemons and bandmate Bruce Springsteen got their starts. The Associated Press reports about 150 people turned out for the makeshift vigil. Fans left photos and flowers for Clemons.
