City-wide youth violence prevention program launches in the Northwest

    Last year, Germantown and West Oak Lane saw a 25 percent increase in shootings and murders. That’s one reason why United States Attorney Zane David Memeger is launching an anti-gun violence campaign there. With any luck, the campaign will become national.

    Yara Simon reports for NewsWorks on the Voices of Youth program, which will produce youth-made documentaries about gun violence in their Philadelphia neighborhoods.
