City says Occupy Philly must remove for City Hall repairs

Reporter Tom MacDonald is covering a couple angles of the Occupy Philly movement today. Here’s one that’s just come through:

City Hall repairs from earthquake damage and the need to fix an upper story window are requiring the shifting of protesters currently on Dilworth Plaza, the city says.  Mayor Michael Nutter says he is in discussions with the protesters about the need for them to move, but as of yet they have not agreed to do so.  Keeping up the scaffolding in the area of the earthquake repair would cost the city continued rental fees, and the window is becoming dangerous.
