Citizens Planning Institute taking fall session applications
Ready to roll up your sleeves and learn how city planning, zoning, and development processes work in Philly and what engaged citizens like you can do to shape the future of their neighborhoods? It’s time to apply for the Citizens Planning Institute‘s fall session.
Applications [pdf] are being accepted from now until September 25 for the Citizens Planning Institute fall session (October 9 – November 20). Classes run on Wednesday evenings from 6-9pm in Center City. The core course of three sessions – held October 9, 16, and 23 – costs $50 (including supper) plus each elective session costs $25 (October 30, November 6 and 13). This session’s electives will focus on best practices for L&I and Zoning Committees, leveraging city funds, and vacant land/community land access.
