Citizens Bank Park reaches milestone with 25 millionth fan

Might be time to oil up those turnstiles at Citizens Bank Park, since they’re not likely to get a rest anytime soon.

The park welcomed its 25 millionth fan Saturday before the Phils went on to beat the Pirates this weekend.

Uwishunu has some fun facts from the park, which expects to average 3,250,000 in turnstile traffic per year by the end of the season.

Since the park opened in 2004, more than 1.8 million cheesesteaks have been sold, and hotdog sales top 3.8 million. The grounds crew has been hard at work, too, mowing the lawn more than 1,200 times .
