Christie is Oprah’s ‘Next Chapter’
Oprah Winfrey’s launching a new show on her eponymous network today, and the big guest she landed for her premiere episode is New Jersey Governor and repository of national Republican hopes, Chris Christie. The Oprah Winfrey Network press releases promises that “[i]n a candid interview, Governor Christie opens up about his life-long struggle with weight and the best advice his mother ever gave him. He also shares his thoughts on President Obama and what Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney needs to do to capture the White House.” Oprah also talks to Christie’s wife, Mary Pat, and their four children.

The interview airs tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern on OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network, which she OWNs.
