Christie expected to veto Democrats’ budget plan

N.J. Gov. Chris Christie is expected to strike down the budget approved yesterday by the state’s Legislature.

The Senate and Assembly both approved the $30.6 billion proposal last night, as WHYY’s Phil Gregory reports, but Christie has already said he doesn’t plan to sign it.

Republican Sen. Kevin O’Toole questioned Dems’ revenue figures, calling them “Madoff financing.”
