Christie announces plans for public-private education partnerships

At noon, N.J. Gov. Chris Christie will announce legislation to create public-private education partnerships for some of the state’s schools. He’ll be at Lanning Square Elementary School in Camden for the announcement, where WHYY reporter Lizz Fiedler is covering the news.

NJ.com reports its sources say few details are available about the plan, which would reportedly start as a pilot program and could involve an opt-in and approval process. Check back with us for more details.
