Chinese city begins shutting down fake Apple stores

Apple lovers (and haters) took notice last week when a blogger discovered five fake Apple stores in the Chinese city of Kunming. Employees were sporting official-looking uniforms and selling Apple products, though not necessarily with the required computer skills.

Tek Lado reports today Kunming government officials have ordered two of those stores to close. Not everyone is pleased, judging by the middle finger one fake store employee gave to a photographer.

The stores are reportedly begin shut down for not having proper business licenses. The three others are still open.
