Reporter Lizz Fiedler has spoken with Chestnut Hill College about yesterday’s suicide of professor Rudolf Alexandrov.

A college spokesperson says early media and police reports are inaccurate, and shared these details with NewsWorks:

Alexandrov was not teaching a class at the time of his death; he never went to the classroom.
    No students witnessed Alexandrov’s death.
Alexandrov’s wife, who also teaches at the college, did not witness his death.

We’ll have more details as the story develops.
