Chestnut Hill College graduates its 87th class [gallery]

On Saturday, Chestnut Hill College graduated its 87th class on the the grounds of the college. 

 

Tracy Davidson of NBC10 and a graduate student in the college’s holistic spirituality program delivered the commencement address. In addition to her Master degree, she was awarded with an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.

C. Maury Devine, who after graduating from the college in 1972, served as the chairman of the board, president and managing director at ExxonMobil Norway Inc., was awarded with an honorary Doctor of Law.

Alumna Rita Schwartz was also awarded an honorary Doctor of Law for her advocacy for Catholic education and work with Association of Catholic School Teachers and as the president of the National Association of Catholic School Teachers. 

Chestnut Hill College was founded in 1924 by the Sisters of St. Joseph.
