Chester County Hospital lays off 45 employees

Chester County Hospital has laid off 45 employees, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports, cutting not quite 3 percent of its workforce.

Spokeswoman Colleen Leonard Leyden tells the PBJ the layoffs impacted mostly administrators and supervisors, and that nurse-to-patient staffing rations remain the same.

Laid off employees will get severance and benefits packages, and job placement assistance.
