Chelten Plaza grand opening greets Germantown grocery shoppers

After months of protracted controversy, the $14 million shopping plaza at the corner of West Chelten and Pulaski Avenues will be officially open for business.

Chelten Plaza anchor tenant Save-A-Lot has been stocking its shelves in recent days to prepare for the new location, but the biggest source of neighborhood friction, a Dollar Tree, won’t open for a few months.
