Charter school students get anti-bullying lessons from rapper, boxer

Fifth- and sixth-grade students at Universal Institute Charter School are taking a break from classes this afternoon for something perhaps equally important: lessons in school violence.

Dr. Stephen S. Leff of Children’s Hospital and the Philadelphia Collaborative Violence Prevention Center has teamed up with Sen. Anthony Hardy Williams to talk to the students at the South Phliadelphia school about preventing and and speaking out against bullying and violence in school.

Rapper Meek Millz and Philadelphia boxer Eddie Chambers will speak to the students during the two hour-long sessions broken up by grade.
