Frank Gargano will retire as president of South Jersey Media Group, making way for outgoing Express-Times vice president of content Joseph P. Owens.

Owens will be the interim general manager of Penn Jersey Advance, a division of Advance Publications.
The Express-Times covers Easton, Pa., and South Jersey Media includes the the Gloucester County Times, Today’s Sunbeam, News of Cumberland County and Washington Township Times. The Easton paper and SJM are both part of Penn Jersey Advance.

The Gloucester County Times reports Gargano will retire at the end of March and Owens’ new job is effective immediately.
