Celebrities in West Philadelphia for playground build

Bible Way Baptist Church in West Philadelphia will get a new playground this weekend, with help from community volunteers and celebrities.

Keystone Mercy Health Plan will join Charlie Mack and Bible Way’s Rev. Damone B. Jones, Sr. for a Safe Playground Build today. Volunteers arrived at 7 a.m., and will be there until 3 alongside celebrities like Tyrese Gibson, Alan Payne and LisaRaye McCoy.

Perhaps more exciting for the kids waiting on the new playground will be games of stickball, hopscotch and more.
