Catholic teachers plan negotiation talks Sunday and Monday

Catholic high school teachers resumed negotiations yesterday with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia education system and will continue talks this weekend.

The teachers began their strike Tuesday after talks broke down.

“The Association and the System will meet again on Sunday, Sept. 11 and Monday, Sept. 12,” reads an update from the Association of Catholic Teachers.
“The Association still hopes that we can reach an agreement quickly so that we won’t have to use all of these dates.  We want to get our teachers back to work.”

ACT will hold a general membership meeting once an agreement has been reached.
