Cat of the Week: Jay Jay

Jay Jay is a 3- to 5-year-old orange and white short-haired cat who has had a rough couple of months. He was surrendered to the shelter by his owners after he scratched their hand.

It’s unclear if Jay Jay was trying to play or was handled wrong, but the staff has described him as shy, though friendly. He spends most of his time facing the back of his kennel and ignoring potential foster parents and adopters because he’s so scared here in the shelter!

Jay Jay needs an understanding foster or adopter who will help him come out of his shell and move on with his life. Please consider giving this special boy a second chance.

Keywords that describe Jay Jay: Shy, sweet, friendly, scared. We know Jay Jay would open up if he had a home of his very own. Come to the shelter and meet him today!
