Cardinal Bevilacqua left his estate to the church

St. Charles Borromeo Seminary and Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia are the main beneficiaries of Cardinal Anthony J. Bevilacqua’s estate.

According to Philly.com, Bevilacqua left $375,000 to the church, left his books to the seminary library and left $25,000 to his nephew and executor, Msgr. John Alesandro, from Brooklyn, New York.

The estate was distributed in accordance with his will, which he signed just months after his 2003 retirement.
