Car parts being stolen near Regional Rail lines

Suburban Philadelphians should be on the lookout when parking near SEPTA’s Regional Rail stations, according to CBS3.

The station reports car parts are being stolen during the day from drivers who park near the rail lines in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties. Since March 12, catalytic converters have been stolen from cars, which mostly sit unused and unattended all day.

SEPTA does not patrol regional rail lots; that task is left to local police departments.
