    U.S. Sen. Bob Casey is asking the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to release $1 million in funds Congress has allocated for unemployed homeowners.
    The Pennsylvania senator has asked the agency to begin distributing the money from the Emergency Homeowners Loan Program to unemployed homeowners who could be facing foreclosure. The money was set aside in October, but disbursement has been delayed.
