Call the PCA HEATLINE for advice on coping with the heat

The Philadelphia Corporation for Aging has activated its HEATLINE (215-765-9040) to advise callers of all ages about precautions they can take against the heat and places they can go to get cool.

On Wednesday, July 4 from 11 a.m. to midnight and on Thursday, July 5 from 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m., the extreme-weather hot-line will be staffed with counselors who can provide information about recommended air-conditioned locations and year-round senior services.
