Bright new year for students at North Montco Technical Career Center

Students at the North Montco Technical Career Center have a lot to look forward to in 2012, courtesy of a $12 million addition to the school.

The Mercury reports the project included new areas for cosmetology and culinary arts in addition to numerous building updates, some of which date back to 1966.

Support for the project came from five school districts who send students to the career center, along with the state Department of Education, according to The Mercury.

The career center held a ribbon cutting in honor of the new addition to the school earlier this month.
