Bridgeton’s version of Groundhog Day says winter’s not going anywhere

    No need to got to Bridgeton, NJ. The town’s coatimundis say six more weeks of winter are due.

    Contrary to the hopeful Punxsutawney Phil, three coatimundi at the Cohanzick Zoo aren’t optimistic about an early spring.


    Carmella, Margarita and Floriemel quickly retreated to their heated den this morning at the16th annual Coatimundi Day — all in agreement that it’s just way too cold for spring to be near.
