Bridgeton looks ahead to summer in considering splash pad plans

Though summer present isn’t actually over, Bridgeton is thinking about summers future as it makes plan for a splash pad off Mayor Aitken Drive just north of the water department building.

Development proposals are being sought, as the News of Cumberland County reports, to install the splash pad as “the most practical, actionable and safest means” to complement the existing pool and further economic development.

Mayor Albert Kelly says there will be an admission fee, like there is at a similar park in Monmouth County, to the splash pad will pay for itself.
