Bridgeton finally catches dog that’s been roaming town since December

It all started in December when a white Pomeranian was spotted hanging out at the Bridgeton McDonald’s and crossing Route 49.

Since then, animal control and city officials have been trying to catch the dog. They were finally successful late last month.
The News of Cumberland County reports the dog couldn’t resist the final of many traps set for him — hot dog, KFC chicken, a can of fish cat food and salami.

A little defensive at first, the dog is adjusting to its new caretakers and will soon go to a foster home.
