Boulevard crash kills one, leaves another injured

    One person was killed and another was injured in a crash this morning on Roosevelt Boulevard.

    WPVI-TV reports two men men were in a car that left the southbound outer lanes at Holme Avenue and slammed into a tree.

    According to the report, the car split in half, killing one of the men.

    The other man, who is believed to be the driver, was rushed to a nearby hospital.

    WPVI-TV says the victims have not been identified.

    Police believe the car was speeding before it left the road.
