Blavat, Lamaine return to radio in South Jersey

    Jerry Blavat, Tom Lamaine and other local voices are coming to a radio near you in South Jersey. As WTKU-FM 98.3 moves to brand itself as Kool 98.3, Blavat and Lamaine will add their local, live voices to the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s station.

    Blavat has other local gigs, playing at Fishtown’s SugarHouse Casino and various Shore destination. Lamaine is a former KYW-TV 3 personality.

    The Press of Atlantic City reports WTKU is the first of Longport Media group’s five stations to launch its new format, but two other stations could do the same early this fall.
