Blackhawks win Pop Warner Super Bowl

The North Philly Blackhawks prevailed Saturday morning to be crowned the Division 1 Pee Wee National Champions over the Sweetwater Hawks from Florida.

    The undefeated Blackhawks won 20-16.

Sweetwater hung in the game until the end, giving the Blackhawks a scare with a hail mary pass after the Blackhawks fumbled with just one-minute left.

But the Blackhawks defense proved too tough for a game changing reception.

“It got a little dicey out there, but we pulled it out,” said Blackhawks Head Coach Derrick Williams in a post game interview.  “I’m glad we will be able to bring the trophy home, not only for ourselves, but for everyone who helped us get here.”
