Black & White Gala raises funds for Chestnut Hill organizations [gallery]

The Chestnut Hill Community Association and the Chestnut Hill Community Fund hosted the seventh annual Black & White Gala and Live Auction at the Philadelphia Cricket Club on Friday night.

An estimated 250 people attended.

The $125-a-person “night with dinner and dancing, wine and champagne, of women in flowing dresses, men in black tie, music and laughter and engaging conversation that reminds us all why we love Chestnut Hill” supports both host organizations, according to organizers.

Funds were raised through ticket sales and a live auction featuring a meal prepared by Mica owner and Chef Chip Roman, a trip to Kiawah Island (SC) and, among other items, an afternoon playing on a private golf course.
