Bizarre theft: Drivers report catalytic converters stolen at Paoli, Rosemont stations

Drivers who have parked at the Paoli and Rosemont train stations are reporting a rather bizarre theft from their cars.

According to Radnor Patch, commuters have been reporting missing catalytic converters from their cars.  The critical car part has is known as containing precious metals and has been a known target for thieves in Montgomery, Delaware and Chester County train stations.

Radnor Patch says the reports have been coming in since the spring from commuters parking in regional rail lots, such as those in Paoli and Rosemont.

According to the report, it appears the catalytic converters are being removed with the use of a battery-operated saw.
