Best mascot in pro sports? Take a wild guess
Quick: What’s the mascot for the Milwaukee Brewers? The New York Mets? Any football team? How about basketball?
The answer is: It doesn’t matter. There’s only one mascot that has true household name recognition and he’s right here in Philly — the Phanatic, of course. And now he may get an award befitting his popularity.
As part of its “Hall of Games,” Cartoon Network is holding a contest for “Most Awesome Mascot.” The competition? The Milwaukee Bucks’ Bango, Gorilla Go of the Phoenix Suns, and the Tennessee Titans’ T-Rac. No contest.
