Ben Franklin Bridge aglow with red lights for most of February

If you live in the Delaware Valley, chances are high you’ll drive across, under or near the Ben Franklin Bridge sometime in the next month.

The red and pink lights you see on Valentine’s Day will be a no-brainer, but the Delaware River Port Authority has a monthly schedule for bridge lighting that includes more than the love/hate holiday.
The lights will stay red most of the month for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women campaign. Following a brief break for the red and pink on the 14th, the lights will stay red until Feb. 21 when they go red, white and blue for President’s Day.

The rest of the month (remember, it’s a Leap Year), will be red.
