Belmont Hills resident creates exclusive yardsale group for neighbors

If you thought there was no way to bring exclusivity to yardsales, then you’ve clearly never been to the Main Line.

A Belmont Hills resident has created a private Facebook group designed to help Lower Merion and Narberth residents sell and trade goods and services. To join, or even see the rules, you’ll need permission from a group administrator.

“There is a level of accountability that makes sellers more responsible because the buyer may know them and their friends,” creator Karen Toole-Ebbert told Ardmore Patch.

If you pass the test to join, you’ll need a photo, description and price in order to post an item you’re hoping to sell.
