Bastille Day celebrated in Philly with even more Tastykake
At this year’s Bastille Day celebration in Philadelphia, those dressed in their French Revolution best got even more of a taste for TastyKake.
This year, organizers tell NewsWorks’ Peter Crimmins the cake product company was very generous in donating 3,000 products for the comical re-enactment of the storming of the iconic French prison.
Crimmins reports the hundreds of TastyKake products were set to rain down onto participants as the actor playing Marie Antoinette yelled “Let them eat Tastykake!”
Since last year’s event, the cake product company had been sold to new owners.
