Basketball star’s brother among six killed in Philly in single day

A spokesman for the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team says the brother of player Dion Waiters was one of the victims during a bloody day on the streets of Philadelphia.

Police said 21-year-old Demetrius Pinckney was found dead of severe head injuries in a South Philadelphia neighborhood.

Police were responding to a report of gunshots shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Officials say the violence started during an argument followed by a dirt bike chase.
