Baltimore Ravens running back robbed at gunpoint in Philadelphia

Bernard Pierce, a Baltimore Ravens running back and former Temple University All-American running back, was robbed at gunpoint Sunday evening in West Philadelphia along the 7500-block of Haverford Avenue.

His new BMW was also stolen, but later retrieved in another part of the city and is now being kept by police to be processed for possible evidence.

Pierce’s mother is just happy he’s safe. ”It could have turned out to be whole different ball game,” she told CBS3. “He’s good, he’s healthy.”
