Art on the Town
Join us for loop night sponsored by the City of Wilmington. Art on the Town is a great way to view exhibitions in our galleries and visit the artist studios during our extended gallery hours. Art on the Town is free and open to the public. Live music with guest musician Shaun Dougherty 6 p.m. Artist opening: Delainey Barclay and Jane Quartarone, Oasis. Riverfront Blues Festival
The Riverfront Blues Festival is a 3 day, outdoor music festival held on the riverfront in Wilmington, DE. The 2010 lineup has been announced. Artists include: The Delta Groove Harp Project; The Perfect Age of Rock n Roll featuring Pinetop Perkins, Bob Margolin, Hubert Sumlin, Willie Big-Eyes Smith; The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Revue featuring The Tommy Castro Band, Magic Dick, Deanna Bogart & Joe Louis Walker. Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park, August 6th, 5 p.m.

Creek Kids program: The Natural World of the Brandywine
Join the Creek Kids in their exploration of nature and wildlife of the Brandywine. Programs include games, history, food, and make-and-take crafts. Included in regular museum admission. Free for members. Use Hagley’s main entrance off Route 141 in Wilmington, Delaware. Hagley Museum and Library, August 10th and 15th, 1 p.m.
History of Costume at the Biggs Museum
Take our new self-guided History of Costume tour through the museum’s permanent galleries. Staff will be available to answer questions. Light refreshments will be provided. Biggs Museum of American Art, August 6th, 2 p.m.
