Attorneys announce adultBasic suit against Corbett, Congress

Two attorneys with Pittsburgh’s Caroselli, Beachler, McTiernan & Conboy law firm will announce today a class action lawsuit against Pa. Gov. Tom Corbett, the Pa. Senate and the Pa. House of Representatives for failure to fund adultBasic.

The state’s low-income health insurance program ended at the beginning of the month, leaving 41,000 adults without coverage.

Attorneys William Caroselli and David Senoff will announce the suit, joined by McKeesport resident Sheryl Sears. The 63-year-old lost her coverage when adultBasic ran out and is a plaintiff in the suit.
