Attorney General Beau Biden finally gets opponent

Independent Party candidate Doug Campbell challenges Beau Biden in the Attorney General’s race.

Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden has been on cruise control heading toward re-election this November.  Republicans have yet to name a candidate to challenge Biden’s efforts to win a second term.

Enter Doug Campbell.  Campbell has entered the Attorney General’s race as a candidate for the Independent Party.  According to Campbell’s campaign Facebook page, his priorities include protecting states’ rights and holding banks and financial institutions accountable for their actions.  Earlier this year, the 30-year-old from Townsend had been campaigning for the U.S. House seat being vacated by Congressman Mike Castle.  He’s now focused on the Attorney General’s race.
